Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing therapeutic services in both individual and group settings, with a focus on outpatient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and the ability to conduct thorough patient assessments. Experience in dance therapy is a plus, as we aim to incorporate creative modalities into our treatment plans.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to engage patients effectively.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the clinic to develop and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
Stay informed about current trends in therapy practices, including dance therapy and other creative modalities.
Support patients in their journey towards recovery by fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA compliance.
Experience in outpatient settings preferred; inpatient experience is a plus.
Familiarity with data collection methods for assessing patient progress.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques is highly desirable.
Previous experience in dance therapy or willingness to learn is advantageous.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
