Draper's Whole Mind clinic provides comprehensive diagnosis and treatments for a variety of mental health issues and disorders including:
Dr. Alex Mageno completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology and Developmental Biology at Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He went on to complete his general psychiatry residency at the University of Riverside, California, where he developed a strong focus on community mental health and trauma, and then pursued specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Stanford University.
Dr. Mageno treats adults, adolescents, and children with a focus on treatment-resistant depression, trauma, maternal mental health, and developmental psychiatry. He is trained in medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Spravato®. His approach blends evidence-based medicine with a holistic understanding of each patient’s unique needs, emphasizing collaboration and compassionate care.
Outside of work, Dr. Mageno enjoys spending time with his wife and children, exploring the outdoors, staying active, and focusing on fitness and nutrition—values he also encourages in his patients as part of a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
