Dr. Jason Major is an experienced nurse practitioner with expertise in family medicine, mental health and wellness, substance use management, and the treatment of chronic pain conditions. Prior to becoming an advanced practice registered nurse, he developed a strong clinical foundation through extensive experience in emergency medicine. He is also actively engaged in research endeavors within these areas of expertise.
Jason earned his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University and his Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University. He currently serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Roseman University of Health Sciences, where he is dedicated to educating and mentoring future nurse practitioners.
Outside of his professional role, Jason values time with his family, whom he considers a constant source of inspiration. He is married to high school sweetheart, and together they have three children; they are eagerly anticipating become grandparents in the very near future. As a family, they enjoy hiking, traveling, exploring Utah’s diverse landscapes, sharing meals, and engaging in a variety of activities, including film, music, workouts, and games.
